Law 201: Perspective - Environmental Ethics (Perspective: 1/3 of 4
credits)
The Perspectives modules in general are meant to give an appreciation of the
underlying social forces and values that shape the law. The Environemental
Ethics Perspective explores some of the philosophies behind environmental law
such as Deep Ecology, Ecofeminism, and Social Ecology and introduces students to
some cases and writings in these areas. Students are evaluated by way of a paper
written at the end of the course.
