35+ tons of tires burned each day in Port Alberni!

How do you feel about the mill burning 35plus ton's of tires every day in Port Alberni?  And 800 tons of hog fuel, every day!.  Did you know that they do check for solids after the burn...   But are not required by law to check for any toxic gases.  But that's ok cause we trust the Government to look after us.  They would never do anything to harm us or our children.  So breathing in the exhaust must be ok, or it would not be allowed right.  And just cause the mill has poisoned the water, land, and air in the past does not mean they would ever do it again right.  In Port Alberni we need to just close our eyes and keep on saying that if we let them keep on poisoning our children's birth right then maybe they will be able to afford to employ us again.  Cause that's what's most important right.  A high paying job for a select few.  After all we can always have more kids!
