STATEMENT BY THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF NATO, DR. JAVIER SOLANA, IN RESPONSE
TO THE STATEMENT BY THE UNITED NATIONS SECRETARY-GENERAL

We welcome the statement of the United Nations Secretary-General, Mr. Kofi
Annan, which is consistent with the actions we expect President Milosevic
to take.
